We have five types of media you can have you backdrops printed on:
Type 1: Graphics Display Paper. This is a high resolution, water resistant, 36lbs paper commonly used for display posters in retail and commercial establishments. Good for short term or temporary installations. Best installed with double sided tape or Speedball Art brand Paper Cement. Liquid or spray adhesives may cause bubbles or wrinkling. Type 2: Polypropylene Film. A water proof, high resolution, photo quality matte finished film typically used in high-end graphics displays and advertising at upscale retail stores and trade show booth displays. This is for long term permanent installation indoors. Best installed with a vinyl compatible wallpaper paste. Spray adhesives may cause bubbling if directions are not followed EXACTLY as manufacture instructs. Please see our section on Installation Tips & Techniques.
Type 3: Polypropylene Peel & Stick (Self Adhesive) Film. Identical to Type 2 above but with an added self adhesive backing. DO NOT apply to latex paint without first applying a coat of NON LATEX primer of 100% acrylic. Please see our section on Installation Tips & Techniques.
Type 4: Vinyl Banner. This is the sign industries preferred pick for banners indoors or outdoors. A thick and durable waterproof, photo quality, 13oz. thick pvc vinyl. Our best material for durability, waterproof and lightfast. Very best for long term indoor or outdoor permanent displays. Best installed with a vinyl compatible wallpaper paste. Type 5: Self Adhesive Vinyl. This is the sign industries preferred pick for “peel & stick” digital print graphics and photos indoors or outdoors. A thick and durable waterproof, photo quality, 4mil thick pvc vinyl film. Our best peel & stick material for durability, waterproof and lightfast. Perfect for long term indoor or outdoor permanent displays. DO NOT apply to latex paint without first applying a coat of NON LATEX primer of 100% acrylic.
